Our Facilities

Outdoor Area

Balbriggan Community Childcare is set in a thatched cottage with garden space to the front and rear of the cottage. We have a variety of play equipment such as climb/slide and smaller slides for younger children. There are tunnels to climb through or just sit in for quiet space. We have swing/seesaw, outdoor chalk boards, playhouse, ride-on toys and a planting area. We take great pride in our outdoor areas.

 

Indoor Area

All our rooms are equipped with age appropriate resources. We have sleeping areas with folding beds and cots for under 2’s. Children are fully supervised and checked at sleep time, at regular intervals in accordance with HSE regulations. We have 2 nappy changing areas and toddler and preschool toilets. We provide messy play, sand and water play and art and crafts. All are part of daily routines in the rooms. All full time children enjoy our home cooked meals prepared in our own kitchen.
